A&W was the setting for a photoshoot of the Italian Auto Club. Photographer Lloyd Ellis was
on hand to photograph our cars during an interlude in the photo setup for the Italian
edition of Marie Claire Magazine.
Eastsiders went directly to the A&W and met us there around 1:00pm for lunch and the photoshoot.
Westsiders met at 11:00 AM at Mama DePalma's restaurant in the "Target" Grand Canyon Shopping Center
near the SW corner of 215 and Flamingo across the parking lot from Chucky Cheese. Some stayed there for lunch,
and the rest of us drove together to the Bootlegger and then to A&W for lunch and photos.
From there we drove together over to A&W in Boulder City, 1410 Nevada Highway.
They have a long tradition of hosting car events and have invited us to bring our cars out for lunch.
They took professional photos of our cars for posting on the restaurant walls and perhaps distribution to others.
They had a special 99 cent menu items for those of us who showed up. Many thanks to
A&W Manager Jose Aquillar and to Ted Allen for setting this up. After lunch Scott Baranoff
generously invited everyone to his beautiful home overlooking Lake Mead for cocktails.
Thanks to Greg Silver and Don Cramer for the photos.
